It's taken a long time for me to accept you have gone Ed.. we go back to 2006. Working together. Me calling you out ar some stupid hour of the morning, to deliver oxygen . We had so many nights talking, putting the world to right. We always met up on our wonderful AP training meetings at Wychwood, you always kept me awake after I had done 12 hour night shift, then went on to do a training session I made you promise that you would wake me up if I started snoring mid traing, and to this day I swear you left me sore, before waking me up because everyone was looking. You supported me when I lost my mum , helped me through my divorce, you was a true friend to the end. I am honoured to have had you in my life Ed. Now you rest mate, no snoring lol. Miss you loads and yes, you did make me speechless for once days before you slipped away. you cheeky sod lol. My thoughts to Sam Reynolds and your family .. they lost a hero. Until we m eet again mate. RIP xxxxx

You was my hero growing up as we were only 8 years apart and we used to play games at nans house in the alley way and we would both get in trouble lol, I remember when you moved in with us, cos you didn't like eggs, I didnt like eggs lol and I'm so so happy that you were there to see me get married ( in your words, something you thought you would never see ) lol but you did and im so glad you saw it! Ed was my world. From the moment we met we were like two jigsaw pieces and we just fitted perfectly. In 14 years we were hardly ever apart from each other and rarely had an angry word. Ed was more like a big brother to me more than anything and I am so grateful to have had him in my life. He was there for us so many times and especially when we lost my dad who thought the world of him. But most of all he made Sam happy and for that I’ll always love him. He loved Sam more than anything and he fit seamlessly into our family. I’ll never forget you Ed. I wish you could have met Ada as she would’ve loved you so much. When I first met Eddie it was at a bowling alley with my Mum. I wasn't sure what to make of him at first but he showed me he was a good man when I saw at my phone because I died on PacMan and he saw. My heart sunk because i thought i was in trouble, but no. He leaned forward and said "Don't worry mate. I won't tell your Nan." And smiled. I always liked him from there. He was always such a supportive man and always wanted to help others. I miss him so much. Love you Eddie
